How to sort a IMAP password

.in order to forward emails keep an IMAP password which is unknown.. there seems not robe an option to reset the password.

I have tried disabling IMAP and using POP …but Can’t disable IMAP

Hello,

Outlook for iOS does not support POP connections.

Only modern authentication methods such as Exchange or IMAP are supported.

For both IMAP and POP, there is no special “IMAP password” or “POP password.”

If you are using a Microsoft account, the password is simply your Microsoft account login password.

If your email is provided by an Internet Service Provider (ISP), then the password is the one issued by your ISP for that email address.

Therefore, if you need to reset or change the password:

For a Microsoft account, you must change it from the Microsoft account management page.

For an ISP email account, you must log in to your ISP’s customer portal and reset or change the password there.

There is no separate IMAP‑specific password to reset.
