Hi Veronica,
You can do this:
- Open Settings -> System -> Activation. Microsoft recommends using the Windows Activation troubleshooter there.
- Run Troubleshoot, then choose I changed hardware on this device recently if you see that option. The troubleshooter only works with the Microsoft account connected to the license.
- Make sure you are signed in with the same Microsoft account you used when buying the Pro upgrade. Microsoft ties the digital license to that account/email.
If the Store purchase was completed but you never received the confirmation email, the first thing I would check is whether the order was placed under a different Microsoft account than the one currently signed in on Windows.
