    Hi JOHN LIBA,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum and I’m really sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing with your Bluetooth earphones. I understand how frustrating it can be when everything looks fine in Device Manager, but your devices still won’t connect. I’m here to help you get this sorted out.

Before we dive into the steps, could you let me know:

    1. When did this issue start happening? Was it after a Windows update, installing new software, or changing any system settings?
    2. Have you tried connecting your earphones to another device (like a phone or tablet)? This helps us determine whether the issue is with the earphones themselves or your computer.

In the meantime, below are some detailed steps that should help resolve the issue:

    Step 1: Restart Bluetooth Services

Sometimes the Bluetooth service may be running but not functioning properly.

    1. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
    2. Scroll down and find Bluetooth Support Service.
    3. Right-click it and select Restart.
    4. Double-click the service, and ensure the Startup type is set to Automatic.
    5. Click Apply and then OK.

This ensures your system is actively managing Bluetooth connections.

Step 2: Enable Bluetooth Discovery Mode

Your PC might not be discoverable to other devices.

    1. Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
    2. Make sure Bluetooth is turned On.
    3. On the right side, click More Bluetooth options.
    4. Under the Options tab, check “Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC.”
    5. Click Apply and OK.

This allows your earphones to detect and pair with your PC.

Step 3: Reset and Prepare Your Earphones

Sometimes the earphones need to be manually put into pairing mode.

    • Refer to your earphones’ manual for how to activate pairing mode (usually involves holding a button for a few seconds).
    • Try connecting them to another device (like your phone) to confirm they’re discoverable.
    • If they connect elsewhere but not to your PC, the issue is likely on the computer side.

Step 4: Remove Old or Conflicting Devices

Old pairings can interfere with new connections.

    1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & other devices.
    2. Scroll through the list and remove any devices you no longer use.
    3. Click on the device name and choose Remove device.

This clears out any potential conflicts.

    Step 5: Update Bluetooth Drivers

Even if Device Manager says the driver is fine, it may still be outdated.

    1. Open Device Manager (Windows + X > Device Manager).
    2. Expand the Bluetooth section.
    3. Right-click your Bluetooth adapter (e.g., Intel Wireless Bluetooth).
    4. Select Update driver > Search automatically for updated driver software.
    5. Alternatively, visit your PC or adapter manufacturer’s website to download the latest driver manually.

If you’re unsure which adapter you have, I’d be happy to help identify it.

In case none of the previous steps resolve the issue, Windows has a built-in troubleshooter that can automatically detect and fix common Bluetooth problems. Here’s how to run it:

    • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
    • Select Bluetooth and run the troubleshooter.

This can automatically detect and fix common issues.

Please let me know how it goes or if you’d like help identifying your Bluetooth adapter or downloading the correct driver. I’m here to support you every step of the way!
