Hello,

We strongly suggest using the latest version of SSMA as it has latest improvements in terms of security and compliance. We only support latest version of SSMA.

Instead of asking for an older version, would you mind sharing what issues you are facing with the latest version?

People are looking for older version as newer version required newer Oracle clients that will not connect to legacy DBMS versions eg Oracle 10.2.

Older versions of SSMA for Oracle are available through the Microsoft Download Center archive. Search for "SQL Server Migration Assistant for Oracle" on https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download and filter by date, or check the release history page in the official SSMA documentation on Microsoft Learn which lists prior releases with direct download links.

The common reason for needing an older version is exactly what was noted above — newer SSMA releases require newer Oracle client versions that won't connect to legacy databases like Oracle 10g or 11g. Using an older SSMA build that matches your Oracle client version is a legitimate workaround when upgrading the source Oracle environment isn't an option.

Thanks for your message David. The download link you sent seems pretty generic and not for archives, as far as I see. The only search box I see is one that searches all of Microsoft.com which lands me back in the same place with v9.5/10.5 downloads. Are you able to see the older versions?
