Unfortunately, this answer doesn't help someone with a new free Azure account and yet gets this error message

    Tenant ID (c4feba93-5c37-4d96-b3eb-dbf6ca6be95f

    Error code: AADSTS5000225

    Correlation ID 019fa3a3-23c2-7974-8e0e-ff1a5e48bc46

This tenant was setup to use Azure authentication to login to our Provation APEX medical software.

We do not use the tenant for anything else but this.

I received an email that said a purchase had be made before August 25th because the account appeared inactive.

Today is July 27th. I suspect this tenant was deactivated a month early on Saturday July 25th. That is one month before your purchase deadline.

Right now this is impacting our Surgery Center as we can not sign in to our Medical software when performing GI procedures on patients.

This is severely affecting patient care. For now we are on paper.

Creating a new tenant would be a major under taking especially now where procedures are continuously being performed.

All users ( it think there are about 50), would have to be recreated, then they would each have to do an initial sign in, they would have to go through creating an entry in Microsoft Authenticator. An Admin would then have to approve the sign in in the medical application after the login. All this while procedures are trying to be performed. Colonoscopies, Endoscopies and such as they probe for possible cancers and other maladies.

I don't think there has been any direct activity in Azure Portal because we have not had turnover and have not had to create any new users.

Nevertheless this Tenant is crucial for our business.

    Please reinstate this tenant.

    Hello @Jose Maria Abreu

The error message you encountered indicates that your tenant has been inactive for over 200 days past the billing cycle, triggering Microsoft’s effort to remove inactive tenants. When a tenant remains inactive for this period, the OMS commerce system imposes a login block (AADSTS5000225). Twenty days after the login block is applied, the tenant is permanently deleted.

    Tenant inaccessible due to inactivity

If you plan to unblock your inactive tenant, it’s essential that it has been blocked for less than 20 days. After the 20-day period, the tenant is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

If it has been less than 20 days since the block, please provide the following details for further assistance:

    Tenant ID:

    Error Code:

Correlation ID from the recent failure:

    Timestamp from the recent failure:

Business impact and justification for restoring the tenant, and an explanation of the impact if the tenant cannot be restored

Note: If it's a test tenant, please re-create a new tenant for testing purposes.

Quickstart: Create a new tenant in Microsoft Entra ID

If you have above details, please provide in Private message.

    Hope this helps.
